Efficiency and Transparency in the Workflow

Mark Reinhardt almost always has his camera within reach. For years, the media professional has been an enthusiastic travel and street photographer, and he naturally understands the challenges involved in photographing people. He steadily developed the idea of providing images by QR code. The result is Contrima, an international platform with fair and transparent infrastructure for spontaneous shoots in public spaces, while travelling, or at events.

Fair – not evil. This principle is at the heart of Contrima; it is always about both sides, photographers and the people being photographed. Through individualized QR codes, the person photographed is directed to their gallery in their language version of the platform. From the outset, Contrima was conceived internationally and is available in 32 languages.

Photographers decide for themselves how they handle the images: they can give them away, exchange them for the right to use them themselves, or sell them. Commercial use is deliberately excluded, but can be arranged individually through direct contact if needed.

As a platform, Contrima also opens up new perspectives for making selected work visible, building one’s own profile, and expanding reach.
