Why is there a voluntary portfolio/social media release?

When gifting or selling, the photographed person receives the images for their purpose. The photographer does not automatically gain publication rights for portfolio, website, or social media. Therefore, Contrima offers an additional, voluntary release that the person can consciously accept or decline.
