Why are images uploaded to collections and not just generally to the account?

The upload is meant to be directly associated with a specific workflow. This way, Contrima knows which QR card, session, person structure, and later rights or download logic the images belong to. This reduces the need for manual sorting later and avoids loose, unassignable files.
